World Test Championship 2021: The Indian team played an intra-squad match before the World Test Championship in which Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ishant Sharma, Ravindra Jhadeja, Mohammad Siraj performed brilliantly. On one hand, where Pant scored a century, KL Rahul has also been successful in playing a century in the practice match. India's hit man has also done wonders of scoring a half-century. In this intra squad match, Virat Kohli also tried his hand at bowling and troubled a batsman like KL Rahul with his ball. The BCCI has shared another special video of the intra-squad match on social media, in which Rishabh Pant and Shardul Thakur are seen in a slightly different style.

Actually, in the video, Pant is talking to fellow players about Shardul Thakur. It can be seen in the video that when the players and the umpire are returning after the day's play after practicing, Shardul on the other hand is seen wearing pads and going out to bat on the net. Pant can then be seen discussing Shardul with coach Ravi Shastri.

In the video, Pant tells coach Shastri about Shardul saying, 'Ravi Bhai, look he is going straight towards the net'. Pant and the fellow players start laughing after this. Let us tell you that in the practice match, Pant had batted unbeaten 121 runs in just 94 balls. Apart from Pant, Shubman Gill has also given a glimpse of being in form by scoring 80 runs.

The final of the World Test Championship will be played between India and New Zealand in Southampton. New Zealand have won the Test series against England on the tour of England, which has boosted the confidence of the Kiwi team. New Zealand's team has also become the number one team in the Test rankings.
