Rajasthan's spinners took 5 wickets, while Yashasvi Jaiswal scored an explosive 77 in the first innings.

Dubey hit fifty on 29 balls

Chennai started very slowly and lost 4 wickets for 73 runs in 11 overs. From here Moin Ali and Shivam Dubey partnered and gave the team hope of victory. Dubey made 29 ball fifty, but could not win his team. He got out after scoring 52 runs in 33 balls.

Rituraj Gaikwad 47, Devon Conway 8, Ajinkya Rahane 8, Ambati Rayudu 0, Moin Ali 23 and Ravindra Jadeja scored 21 runs in the rest of the team's batsmen. Adam Jampa took 5 wickets and Ravichandran Ashwin took 2 wickets from Rajasthan. Kuldeep Yadav got a wicket.

Second: Zampa lofted the second ball of the 10th over on the middle stump. Rituraj Gaikwad was caught in front trying to play a big shot. He scored 47 runs off 29 balls.

Third: Ravichandran Ashwin threw the second ball of the 11th over flighted on the leg stump. Ajinkya Rahane was caught out at long on. He scored 15 runs off 13 balls.

Fourth: Ashwin bowled the fourth ball of the 11th over on a good length. Ambati Rayudu sweeps the slog but is caught at deep mid-wicket. He could not even open his account.

Fifth: Fifth ball of the 15th over, Zampa bowled a fuller good length on the off stump. Moeen Ali got out caught trying to play the cut shot. He scored 23 runs off 12 balls.

Jaiswal scored 77 runs

Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a career best 77 in the first innings. Dhruv Jurel and Devdutt Paddikal shared a 48-run partnership in 20 balls in the last over. Tushar Deshpande took 2 wickets from Chennai. Mahish Teekshana and Ravindra Jadeja got 1-1 wickets. A batter ran out.

Openers got off to a brisk start in the Powerplay

Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Yashasvi Jaiswal got Rajasthan off to a brisk start. He hit 3 fours in the very first over. The team scored 64 runs without loss in 6 overs, Yashasvi scored 40 runs off 21 balls. Jos Buttler also supported him well.

Yashasvi's Fifty in 26 balls

Yashasvi Jaiswal got Rajasthan Royals off to a brisk start. He completed fifty in 26 balls and shared an 86-run partnership with opener Jose Butler. Yashasvi became the victim of Tushar Deshpande after scoring 77 runs in 43 balls. This is also Yashasvi's best score in IPL.

Padikkal-Jurel crossed 200

Rajasthan lost the wicket of Shimron Hetmyer for 146 runs in the 17th over. From here, Dhruv Jurel and Devdutt Paddikkal shared a 48-run partnership off 20 balls to take the team's score past 200 runs. Jurel was run out after scoring 34 runs in 15 balls. Padikkal played an unbeaten inning of 23 runs in 13 balls.

In the rest of the team's batsmen, Jos Buttler 27, Sanju Samson 17 and Hetmyer were dismissed after scoring 8 runs. Ravichandran Ashwin remained not out after scoring one run.
