Hyderabad reached the final after defeating Rajasthan

Sunrisers Hyderabad team, led by Shahbaz Ahmed, has reached the finals of the IPL 2024 season by defeating Rajasthan Royals on the basis of excellent performance by the bowlers. Hyderabad will face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai on Sunday. KKR had defeated Hyderabad in the Qualifier-1 match and once again both the teams will face each other.

Rajasthan got the target of 176 runs

Sunrisers Hyderabad set a target of 176 runs in Qualifier-2 against Rajasthan Royals. For Hyderabad, Heinrich Klaasen played an inning of 50 runs in 34 balls, with the help of which the team scored 175 runs for nine wickets in 20 overs. For Rajasthan, fast bowlers Trent Boult and Sandeep Sharma took three wickets each. Rajasthan Royals won the toss and decided to bowl first and Trent Boult wasted no time in proving it right.

Boult gave the initial blow to Hyderabad and put it under pressure. Hyderabad's opening pair once again failed and Abhishek Sharma returned to the pavilion cheaply. Boult gave three blows to Hyderabad in the powerplay itself and gave initial success to Rajasthan. Hyderabad team got into trouble due to these shocks. However, Heinrich Klaasen along with Shahbaz Ahmed, who came in as an impact player, handled the innings. Klaasen scored a brilliant half-century which helped Hyderabad team score a challenging score. If Hyderabad wants to make it to the final match, then the Hyderabad bowlers will have to perform brilliantly.
