Narmada (Gujarat): The WHO figure of 47 lakh deaths due to corona epidemic in India has been called wrong by the central government and all the agencies and experts. The Central Council of Health and Family Welfare on Friday passed a resolution against the World Health Organization's modeling system, calling it wrong. Sources gave information about this.

Sources told news agency ANI that there are many flaws in the WHO's estimate regarding the deaths due to Kovid-19 in India and their figure is completely unacceptable. It has been said in this resolution that every death due to corona in India has been recorded in a sequential manner with complete transparency.

The issue was raised at the Central Council of Health and Family Welfare's conference held at Kevadia in Gujarat, which was presided over by Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. 20 health ministers from different states also participated in this meeting.

'WHO's model and methodology wrong'

According to sources, it has been said in this proposal that this projected model of the World Health Organization is disappointing and stressing. In which very high estimates were made regarding the deaths due to corona in India. Talking to ANI, Punjab Health Minister Vijay Singhla said that, this resolution has been passed against WHO.

He said that the World Health Organization showed wrong figures regarding deaths during the corona epidemic. WHO did not calculate correctly, our system has very accurate data on deaths and births. That's why we condemn the World Health Organization on this issue.

Earlier on Thursday, the central government rejected the WHO's estimated figures of deaths due to corona in India. The government said that the validity, robustness and method of data collection of the model used are questionable.

At the same time, NITI Aayog member VK Paul also said that India already has the data of deaths from Kovid, so this model of WHO cannot be given importance where only estimates have been released.
