Talking about the match, KKR won the toss and invited Delhi Capitals to bat. Delhi Capitals scored 135 for five in 20 overs, with Shikhar Dhawan contributing the highest of 36 runs, while Varun Chakraborty took two wickets. KKR made a brilliant start in reply, scoring 96 runs without losing a wicket. Venkatesh Iyer played a brilliant innings of 55 runs.
