Changes in the rules for the final match

The final match between Pakistan and England will start at 1.30 pm Indian time. More than 90 percent rain has been predicted during this match to be held in Melbourne. In this case, more time may be required to complete the match. After the change in the rule, the timing of the start of the match will remain the same but there will be a leeway to take it beyond the stipulated time to complete it.

Match may start before scheduled time

A reserve day has also been kept for the final match. That is, if the match is not completed due to rain on 13 November, it will be played on 14 November. According to the change in the rule, even on this day, if needed, the match can be played beyond the scheduled time. That is, a few more hours have been added to the match. Explain that under the change in the rules, a provision has also been made to start the match even before the scheduled time on the reserve day, but it will not be a fresh start. The game will continue from where the match stopped on the previous day.

2 hours added to the scheduled time of the final match

During the ongoing T20 World Cup in Australia, about 4-5 matches got rained. The ICC does not want the final match to have the same result, so it has increased the time of the title match by two hours. If this extra 2 hours is needed due to rain, it can be used.

Despite all these changes in the rules, it will be mandatory for the result of the final match to be at least 10-10 overs. That is, both the teams will have to play at least 1-0 overs, so that the result of the match can come. If this is also not possible, then Pakistan and England will have to be content with being joint winners.
