Saudi Arabia Zakat / Saudi opened treasury even for enemy country, provided help to thousands of people

Before Eid ul Fitr, Muslims all over the world give Zakat al Fitr i.e. donation given before Eid in the month of Ramadan. Many Muslim countries also withdraw Zakat al-Fitr from their treasury. Under this, Saudi Arabia's King Salman Relief Center has signed an agreement with a civil society organization to deliver Zakat Al-Fitr to Yemen. This agreement will benefit 31,333 needy families of Yemen.

Under this, Saudi Arabia's King Salman Relief Center has signed an agreement with a civil society organization to deliver Zakat Al-Fitr to Yemen. This agreement will benefit 31,333 needy families of Yemen. The purpose of the agreement is to provide help before Eid to the needy people of Yemen, who are going through a humanitarian crisis due to the global war.

Earlier, the agency had sent its seventh relief shipment to Sudan through Saudi Relief Sea Bridge. The shipment included 12 refrigerator trucks carrying 14,960 food parcels. This Jeddah ship departed from Islamic port and reached Suakin port in Sudan on Thursday. This assistance is part of the second phase of the food security project in Sudan, which is being run by the Saudi agency.

Saudi is useful in times of crisis

Saudi Arabia is helping many countries facing crisis under KS Relief. About 1.5 million people are expected to benefit from the ongoing Saudi Relief Mission in Sudan. This initiative is helping to alleviate the current circumstances faced by the Sudanese people. Saudi Arabia and Sudan already have strong relations and now Saudi Arabia is helping Sudan in its bad times.

Gift for Malaysia and South Africa also

Meanwhile, the agency has gifted 25 tonnes of dates to Malaysia. Saudi Ambassador to Malaysia Musaid bin Ibrahim al-Salim presented the gifts on behalf of the agency in the presence of several Malaysian officials. On this occasion, Al-Salim praised the strong relationship between Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. Apart from this, KS Relief has distributed 400 food parcels to needy families in South Africa. This distribution is part of the Ramadan “Etaam” food distribution project in South Africa.
