Uttarakhand / Sensation spread after finding dead body of youth in Nainital, three bullets hit in chest, police reached the spot engaged in investigation

Sensation has spread after the body of a youth was recovered in Gopala Sadan located in Mallital area. The young man has been shot in the chest. Police have recovered a pistol and a shell near the body. On receiving the information, all the police officers including SSP Pankaj Bhatt reached the spot.

According to the information, people saw the dead body of the youth outside the house of Anil Pandey, serving in the Vigilance Department, Dehradun, in Gopala Sadan on Friday morning and informed the police. On receiving the information, Kotwal Pritam Singh reached the spot along with the police force.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased is a resident of Rajasthan and his name is Saurabh Pandey. Whether it is murder or suicide is being investigated. Police is also probing how the youth reached here. Police say that soon this whole matter will be disclosed. The family of Vigilance Officer Anil Pandey lives near the house where the body was found. However, the people around have denied hearing the sound of gunshots.
