Bollywood | Sushant Singh Rajput had said goodbye to the world a year ago on this day. On this occasion, from his close friends to his fans are paying tribute to him. On June 14, Sushant's body was found in his apartment. After which his father KK Singh lodged an FIR accusing the late actor's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty of abetment to suicide and accused her of misappropriation of money. When the issue of nepotism arose in Bollywood, many stars also came under attack. Earlier this case was being investigated by Mumbai Police and Patna Police. Then the case was handed over to the CBI. What happened on which date?

14 June

Sushant Singh Rajput's body was found in his Bandra apartment. The actor's team had issued a statement saying- 'It is with sadness that Sushant is no more with us.' Bollywood stars mourned his death. Among them were other stars including Karan Johar, Kriti Sanon, Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher. Deepika Padukone posted about mental health and said that it needs to be talked about.

15 June

Kangana posted a video about Sushant and said that 'he was not mentally weak. He was a rank holder, how could he be weak in mind? If you look at some of his posts, it is clear that he was asking to see his film. He had no godfather in the industry. Why didn't the industry accept him?'

June 17

Mukesh Chhabra, director of Sushant Singh Rajput's last film 'Dil Bechara', recorded his statement.

18 June

Riya was summoned to record her statement. The statements of 10 other people were recorded with him. Among them were members of Sushant's family.

June 24

According to the post-mortem report received by the Mumbai Police, the actor died of "respiratory arrest due to hanging". The final report stated that 'there was no struggle before death, no nail marks were found.'

7 July

Sanjay Leela Bhansali was questioned by Mumbai Police. It was reported in the report that Bhansali had approached Sushant for four films but could not do the film due to the dates.

14 July

Rhea Chakraborty broke her silence and shared pictures with Sushant. He wrote on social media- 'I hope you are in a place of more peace. Moon, stars, galaxies welcome.'

16 July

Riya wrote a post on social media demanding a CBI inquiry into the matter from Home Minister Amit Shah.

28 July

Sushant's father KK Singh lodged an FIR against Riya in Patna. He alleged abetment to suicide, misappropriation of money.

29 July

Riya moved the Supreme Court and sought transfer of the FIR against her in Patna to Mumbai.

August 3

Bihar Police reached Mumbai for investigation. On the other hand, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioned Sushant's chartered accountant Sandeep Sridhar.

4 august

The Bihar government demanded a CBI probe into the matter.

5 august

The Center accepted the demand of the Bihar government and the investigation was handed over to the CBI. The CBI registered an FIR against Riya, her parents Indrajit Chakraborty, Sandhya Chakraborty and brother Sauvik Chakraborty.

7 august

The ED interrogated Riya, Sauvik, Riya's chartered accountant Ritesh Shah and her former manager Shruti Modi in the money laundering case.

August 18

Sushant's father KK Singh recorded his statement before the ED.

22 August

CBI's Special Task Force and forensic team reached Sushant's Bandra home and investigated. The team was also accompanied by Sushant's flatmate Siddharth Pithani and his cook Neeraj.

26 august

After the CBI and the ED, now the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) got involved in the investigation regarding the drug angle.

August 28

Riya first appeared in front of the CBI for questioning. At the same time, the ED questioned Goa businessman Gaurav Arya.

7 september

Riya filed a police complaint against Sushant's sister Priyanka. It was alleged that Sushant was given medicines for anxiety through wrong prescription.

8 september

After three days of interrogation, NCB arrested Riya Chakraborty.

October 3

The forensic team of AIIMS which was probing Sushant's autopsy report claimed that it was a case of suicide. Dr Gupta told news agency ANI that apart from the hanging, there were no injury marks on the body. There were no signs of struggle/scuffle in the body and clothes of the deceased.'

Riya Chakraborty released on bail.
