IND vs ENG: The Indian team had to face defeat in the first match of the 5-match Test series against England. Now Team India will try to win the second match played on the grounds of Visakhapatnam so that the series can be leveled at 1-1. In the first Test, Team India's batsmen were clearly seen struggling against the spin bowlers of the England team, with left-arm spinner Tom Hartley giving them the most trouble. In such a situation, before the second match to be held in Visakhapatnam, Indian players were seen making special preparations to face the spinners in the nets.

Practicing sweep and reverse-sweep shots vigorously

The second Test match at Visakhapatnam ground will start from February 2 and before that both the teams have reached there. According to PTI news, Team India players practiced extensively on playing sweep and reverse sweep shots on the nets during practice on January 31. Let us tell you that in the first test, England players had scored a lot of runs through these shots against the Indian spinners. Now Indian players are also planning to play in a similar manner. Apart from Shubman Gill, the names of Rajat Patidar are included in the players who practiced playing these shots on the nets. Regarding the players' practice of these shots, batting coach Vikram Rathore said that this (sweep and reverse sweep) is not something that you can try. You need to practice it. If you have more shots then that is beneficial. We play in a traditional way. Our strength is to play straight with the bat and use our feet. We need to do it well.

Indian team had such a record in Visakhapatnam

If we look at the record of Team India here before this second Test match played on the ground of Visapatnam, then 2 matches have been played in it and in both the matches, the Indian team has won the match brilliantly. In 2016, when India played its first match here, it was against England and they won by 246 runs. After this, in the second match against South Africa in the year 2019, Team India won the match by 203 runs.
