India-Pakistan Relations: An important flag meeting was held between India and Pakistan on Friday to reduce tensions on the Line of Control (LoC). The meeting took place in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, where several incidents of cross-border firing and IED attacks were reported recently. Earlier, firing was also done targeting Indian posts in Poonch sector.

The Indian Army and security agencies are constantly monitoring the LoC and are fully prepared to deal with any emergency. The Indian Army is giving a befitting reply to the repeated ceasefire violations and conspiracies by Pakistan.
