Presidential Debate: The first presidential debate took place today (Friday) between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, 5 months before the presidential election in November in the US. This contest between Republican Party candidate Trump and Democrat candidate Biden took place for the second time in 4 years. During this, both the leaders made serious allegations and personal attacks on each other for 75 minutes. Donald Trump called Biden a Manchurian. He alleged that Biden gets money from China. At the same time, the President cornered Trump on his hush money case and said, "Your wife was pregnant and you were having an affair with a porn star."At the beginning of the debate, the two leaders did not even shake hands with each other. While entering the TV studios, Biden looked at Trump and waved his hand and asked him how he was. Trump did not answer this, he quietly went and stood at his place.The debate was shown on CNN, you can also watch it here...First know the rules of the debate...The debate was hosted by CNN's 2 anchors Jake Tapper and Dana Bash. They are called moderators. They asked the candidates questions on important issues one by one. Trump-Biden had 2 minutes to answer.After presenting their side, Trump and Biden got 1 minute each to counter (make allegations) and answer it. The candidates were given 1 pen, 1 notepad and 1 water bottle. The microphone of the candidates was turned on only when their turn came.Foreign Policy- Trump said- Biden provoked Putin to attack UkraineQuestion 3- Putin says that he will stop the war only when Ukraine gives up its claim on the areas which Russia has occupied. Also, it will have to give up its insistence on joining NATO. Trump, do you accept these conditions.
- Trump's answer- Biden is the worst chief commander ever. American soldiers like me more as a president.
- If we had a president whom even Putin respected, they would never have attacked Ukraine.
- Biden did nothing to stop the war. He had provoked Putin to attack.
- Biden's decision regarding Afghanistan brought humiliation to the US all over the world, but Biden did nothing.
- We left military equipment and weapons worth several billion dollars in Afghanistan. Our soldiers were killed, we left American citizens. Seeing this, Putin attacked Ukraine.
- If America had a responsible president, even Hamas would never have been able to attack Israel.
- Terror was not increasing like this anywhere during my tenure, but the whole world is being destroyed during Biden's tenure.
- Biden's answer: We have evacuated thousands of people from Afghanistan. Putin is a war criminal.
- He has killed millions of people. He wants to re-establish the Soviet empire. He will not let peace come to Ukraine.
- Trump's counterattack: I do not accept Putin's conditions, but this war should never have started. 200 billion dollars have been given to Ukraine so far.
- Whenever Zelensky comes here, he takes several billion dollars with him. He is the world's biggest salesman. If I am elected President, I will end the Russia-Ukraine war even before I take office.
