Share Market Today: After Tuesday's terrible fall, the Indian stock market saw a slight increase on Wednesday. The BSE Sensex opened with a gain of 121.77 points at 76,146.28 points, while the NSE Nifty 50 index opened with a gain of 26.90 points at 23,192.60 points.Signs of improvement after heavy fall on Tuesday On April 1, the Indian stock market saw a huge decline, when the Sensex fell 1390.41 points to 76,024.51 and the Nifty fell 353.65 points to 23,165.70. Signs of improvement were seen in the market on Wednesday.Tech Mahindra shares saw the biggest gain On Wednesday morning, 16 out of 30 Sensex companies saw a rise, while the shares of 14 companies opened in the red. Out of 50 companies of Nifty 50, shares of 18 companies were seen in the green mark and shares of 32 companies were seen in the red mark. Among the Sensex companies, shares of Tech Mahindra rose the most by 1.30%, while shares of Nestle India fell by 2.25%.Status of other major stocksStocks registering gains: Infosys (1.12%), Zomato (1.01%), HDFC Bank (0.55%), ICICI Bank (0.54%), Mahindra & Mahindra (0.45%).Stocks declining: Power Grid (-1.16%), UltraTech Cement (-0.84%), Larsen & Toubro (-0.66%), Hindustan Unilever (-0.61%), NTPC (-0.61%).Future prospects for the market Experts believe that investor sentiment may gradually improve, but global economic conditions and foreign investor activities will determine the direction of the market.
