Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached the Police Control Room in Srinagar on Wednesday to pay tribute to the 26 innocent civilians who lost their lives in this tragedy. Home Minister Amit Shah first paid tribute to the martyrs. After this, he went to meet the families who were in deep shock of losing their loved ones. The family members were crying badly. They shared their grief in front of the minister, and Shah consoled them and asked them to keep courage. He consoled a small child by stroking his forehead, which became a touching picture of this sensitive moment of the country.

Shah reached Baisaran, took stock of the situation

After attending the condolence meeting at the police control room, Amit Shah left for the place where the attack took place - Baisaran by helicopter. It is about 110 km from Srinagar and it is there that the tourists were targeted. Shah inspected the spot and took detailed information from the security officials. During this, he instructed to keep a close watch on the activities of the terrorists and intensify security measures.

The whole country is mourning, the government is serious

This attack has shaken not only Jammu and Kashmir but the whole country. Most of the dead were tourists who had come to Kashmir in search of peace and natural beauty. Shah, who reached Srinagar a few hours after the attack, also held a high-level review meeting with the Governor and senior security officials.
