Uttarakhand Weather Update / The weather changed, clouds covered some places and snow on the mountains

It has been sunny in many districts of Uttarakhand since morning, but snowfall continues in some high altitude areas. The weather is clear in many districts including Rudraprayag, Tehri. While it is snowing in Bageshwar of Kumaon. It is also cloudy in some areas. Due to the change of weather, the cold has increased once again.

After 23, rain and snowfall may occur again in most areas of the state. This may also be the last rain and snowfall of winter, after which the weather is expected to increase in heat. Its effect can be seen in almost all the areas of the state. However, due to the on-going rain and snowfall, there may be an increase in the cold for some time.

Rain and snowfall in areas above 2500 meters of the state

According to the bulletin issued by the Meteorological Department, the effect of Western Disturbance will be visible in almost all areas. During this, there may be rain in Uttarkashi, Tehri, Rudraprayag and Chamoli districts of Garhwal division. On the other hand, there will be a possibility of rain in Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Almora and Champawat of Kumaon.

Along with rain, snow can also fall in the areas above 2500 meters of the state. Generally from the beginning of March the heat in the weather intensifies. After this last rain of the season, the weather is expected to decrease in coolness and increase in heat.
