IND vs AUS: Before the ODI World Cup 2023, the Indian team is going to play a 3-match ODI series against Australia. This series is starting from 22nd October. BCCI has announced the squad for this high voltage series. The selectors have selected two different teams for this series. In which a young team will field under the captaincy of KL Rahul in the first two matches. In the third i.e. the last match, only the team that has entered the World Cup will be seen playing. However, 2 more players have been included with that team. In this report, we are going to tell you about those players who have been rested in the first two ODI matches and also those players who have returned to the team after a long time.

Entry of these 4 players in the team

KL Rahul has been given the command of the team for the first two ODI matches. Whereas the team's veteran players Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav have been given rest in the first two matches. These players have performed brilliantly in the recent Asia Cup. After which, in view of the danger of injury and other things, these players have been given rest.

This player returned after almost 2 years

Veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has been included in the team for the Australian series. Ashwin last played an ODI match for Team India in January 2022. That means, after about 21 months, this player will be seen back playing ODI matches for the team. Ashwin has played 113 ODI matches for Team India in which he has taken 151 wickets.
