US Presidential Election: Just 10 days before the presidential election to be held on November 5 in the US, the contest has become very close. Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump, both are putting in all their efforts to get the support of voters in the crucial states where the contest is fierce. Recently, CNN's final national-level survey found that 47% of voters are supporting Kamala Harris, while the same number of voters are supporting Trump.

Surveys indicate a close contest

In a survey conducted between the New York Times and Siena College on October 20-23, 48% of voters support Kamala Harris, while Trump has received the same amount of support. At the same time, 4% of voters are still confused about their decision. Another survey found that 44% people trust Trump to handle the economy, while 43% consider Harris to be trustworthy. However, according to the '538 Poll Tracker', Harris has a slight lead of 1.7% points, which shows a close contest between the two candidates.

Decisive States: Important in the race for the White House

Out of 538 electoral votes, 270 votes are required to win, and there are 7 major states where the contest is very tough. States like Georgia, Michigan, Arizona, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Wisconsin, and Nevada will play an important role in deciding the next president of the country. Both the candidates are engaged in their last efforts to increase support in these states, so that they can get as many 'popular votes' in their favor as possible.

Kamala Harris focuses on reproductive rights, Trump's immigration issue

In the last round of rallies, Kamala Harris has started emphasizing on reproductive rights keeping in mind the women voters. In her rally held in Houston, Harris talked about removing the strict restrictions on abortion and included it in the fundamental rights of women. They say that the ban on abortion in Texas and 13 other states should be lifted so that women can get their reproductive rights. On the contrary, Donald Trump is luring traditional conservative voters by putting forward his anti-immigration views.

Issues like economy, employment, reproductive rights, and immigration are playing a major role in this election. Both the candidates are emphasizing on these issues to woo their supporters so that they can get maximum popular votes.
