Mumbai: Late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Meetu Singh shared a post to inform the fans that her family has not authorised any person to raise donations or funds in the ‘Raabta’ star’s name. She clarified that no one has the consent to make anything related to Sushant, be it a film, book or merchandise. Meetu slammed the people for taking ‘advantage of the situation’ and called it an ‘inhuman’ act. She said that the culprits should refrain from raising donations and seeking fans from the fans in Sushant’s name.Singh posted a series of tweets on Thursday (June 3) after the fans asked her to take stringent action against the people using Sushant’s name for monetary gain. “Unfortunately, it has come to our notice that some people are taking advantage of this situation for their own personal benefits which is an unexplainably inhuman act. All these people are required to refrain themselves from doing so,” she tweeted.Singh further wrote, “We would also like to bring this to everyone’s notice that the family has not authorised anyone to raise donations or funds in the name of SSR and no one has the consent to make anything about or related to SSR, be it a movie, a book or a merchandise.” Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his apartment on June 14, 2021. Three Central agencies- the Central Bureau of Investigation, the Enforcement Directorate and the Narcotics Control Bureau are investigating his death case. Last week, the NCB arrested Sushant’s former roommate Siddharth Pithani in connection with a case linked to his death. A Mumbai court extended NCB’s custody of Pithani till June 4. The drugs law enforcement agency also questioned SSR’s bodyguard and domestic staff as part of their probe into the high-profile case.Sushant's father KK Singh had filed a complaint against Rhea Chakraborty and her family members at Patna's Rajeev Nagar Police station in July 2020. He lodged the complaint under various sections of the IPC including abetment to suicide.
