Recently, the plant of India's leading helmet manufacturer Steelbird was visited, where helmets are manufactured in accordance with standards such as BSI, DOT, and ECE 22.06. The process of making a helmet begins with the design, which is prepared keeping in mind the convenience of the users.

Helmets are made with high quality machines

After the design of the helmet is finalized, attention is also paid to making the thermocol used in it strong. It was seen in the Steelbird factory that this thermocol is prepared with such strength that it cannot be broken by ordinary methods. High-pressure thermocol is made from machines, which ensures the safety of the head at the time of an accident.

Assembly and visor test

After the design and thermocol are manufactured, colors and graphics are applied on the outer part of the helmet. Then foam, cloth and buckles are assembled, which provide strength to the helmet. The visor was also tested at the Steelbird factory, in which an attempt was made to burn it with fire. This test ensures that the visor does not get damaged even in heat and can protect the eyes in an accident.
