BCCI News: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a new initiative at the domestic level of Indian cricket, which will provide encouragement and recognition to the players. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah recently informed about this important initiative through a social media post. Under this, now the prize money will be announced for 'Player of the Match' and 'Player of the Tournament' in all women's and junior cricket tournaments. Also, the 'Player of the Match' will be given prize money in Vijay Hazare and Syed Mushtaq Ali tournaments of senior men's cricket. Speaking about this new initiative, Jai Shah said, "We are introducing prize money for Player of the Match and Player of the Tournament in all women's and junior cricket tournaments under our domestic cricket program. In addition, prize money will be given for Player of the Match in Vijay Hazare and Syed Mushtaq Ali tournaments for senior men. The aim of this initiative is to recognize and reward excellent performances in the domestic circuit. Heartfelt thanks to the apex council for their unwavering support in this endeavor.
