Delhi CM Atishi: Delhi Chief Minister Atishi on Tuesday made a shocking claim and accused the central government of conspiring to weaken democracy. She said, "A DM has handed over a list of 20,000 voters to each of his Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) and said that the names of 'AAP' voters have to be removed. This work is being done directly at the behest of BJP, because BJP knows that it is going to lose the election.”

The CM also claimed that Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have been ordered not to add new voters nor retain AAP voters in the voting list. She said, “BLOs have been told to work on the basis of the list given by the BJP party and delete the names of AAP supporters. This is a direct attack on democracy.”

Atishi appealed to the Delhi government officials to oppose such illegal orders. She said, “If any officer asks you to delete votes or stops you from adding new voters, then record them and send them to me. I assure that strict action will be taken against them.”
