India - Congress appoints Ajay Maken as Gen Secy in-charge of Rajasthan
Jaipur: The Congress on Sunday appointed Ajay Maken as the general secretary in-charge of Rajasthan, replacing Avinash Pandey with immediate effect.This comes after the crisis in the Rajasthan Congress came to an end after a truce negotiated between the Sachin Pilot camp and the party leadership in Delhi.The party has also constituted a committee with party leaders Ahmed Patel, KC Venugopal and Ajay Maken as its members to “oversee and follow-up (on) smooth resolution of recent issues in Rajasthan”.
