First day of Mega Auction ends - see which team has which players

IPL 2025 Mega Auction: In the mega auction going on in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, 2 Indian cricketers have become the biggest players in IPL history. At number one is Rishabh Pant, who is the most expensive cricketer ever. Former Delhi Capitals captain and wicketkeeper Pant was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 27 crore.

At number two is captain and batsman Shreyas Iyer, who made Kolkata the champion last season. Shreyas was bought by Punjab Kings by bidding 26.75 crores.

The surprising deal was that of Venkatesh Iyer, for whom there was a bid of up to 23.50 crores between Kolkata Knight Riders and Bangalore Royal Challengers. Kolkata bought Venkatesh for 23.75 crores. Venkatesan had hit a fifty against Hyderabad in the last IPL final.

First day of mega auction over

Uncapped fast bowler Rasikh Dar Salam has been bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 6 crore. RCB had placed the highest bid of 2 crores beating the other teams but Delhi Capitals activated RTM. Bangalore then bid 6 crores, where Delhi withdrew.

Vishnu Vinod has been bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 95 lakhs. Mumbai and Kolkata had also bid for Vishnu.

Aryan Juyal was bought by Lucknow Super Giants and Anuj Rawat was bought by Gujarat Titans. Both were sold at a base price of 30 lakhs each.
