IPL 2025 Mega Auction / First day of Mega Auction ends - see which team has which players

In the IPL mega auction held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Rishabh Pant was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for 27 crores. Shreyas Iyer went to Punjab Kings for 26.75 crores. Kolkata bought Venkatesh Iyer for 23.75 crores. Rasikh Dar became the most expensive uncapped player.

IPL 2025 Mega Auction: In the mega auction going on in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, 2 Indian cricketers have become the biggest players in IPL history. At number one is Rishabh Pant, who is the most expensive cricketer ever. Former Delhi Capitals captain and wicketkeeper Pant was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 27 crore.

At number two is captain and batsman Shreyas Iyer, who made Kolkata the champion last season. Shreyas was bought by Punjab Kings by bidding 26.75 crores.

The surprising deal was that of Venkatesh Iyer, for whom there was a bid of up to 23.50 crores between Kolkata Knight Riders and Bangalore Royal Challengers. Kolkata bought Venkatesh for 23.75 crores. Venkatesan had hit a fifty against Hyderabad in the last IPL final.

First day of mega auction over

The action of the first day in the mega auction is over. Shreyas Gopal, who came as the last uncapped player, did not find any buyer. On the first day, bids were placed on a total of 84 players, out of which 72 players were bought, while 12 remained unsold. Kumar Karthikeya bought by Rajasthan

Experienced leg spinner Karn Sharma was bought by Mumbai Indians for 50 lakhs. RCB did not use RTM for Karn.

Suyash Sharma enters RCB

There was a fierce bidding between Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai for young leg spinner Suyash Sharma, but finally Bangalore bought him from RCB for 2.6 crores.

Simarjit Singh bought by SRH

Young pacer Simarjit Singh has been bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 1.50 crore. He was a part of Chennai Super Kings till last season.

Young pacer Yash Thakur was bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 1.60 crore. Yash was earlier a part of Lucknow Super Giants.

Kolkata Knight Riders bought fast bowler Vaibhav Arora, who was one of their key players last season, for Rs 1.80 crore.

Vijaykumar Vishaka bought by Punjab

Karnataka fast bowler Vijaykumar Vishaka has been bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 1.80 crore. He was a part of Bangalore till last season.

Mohit bought by Delhi

Experienced Indian pacer Mohit Sharma has got a new team. Mohit, who has been with Gujarat for the last 2 seasons, has been bought by Delhi for Rs 2.20 crore.

Akash Madhwal bought by Rajasthan

Rajasthan Royals have bought fast bowler Akash Madhwal for Rs 1.20 crore. Akash Madhwal was earlier a part of Mumbai Indians.

Rasikh Dar Salam bought by RCB

Uncapped fast bowler Rasikh Dar Salam has been bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 6 crore. RCB had placed the highest bid of 2 crores beating the other teams but Delhi Capitals activated RTM. Bangalore then bid 6 crores, where Delhi withdrew.

Vishnu Vinod bought by Punjab

Vishnu Vinod has been bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 95 lakhs. Mumbai and Kolkata had also bid for Vishnu.

Aryan bought by LSG, Anuj bought by GT

Aryan Juyal was bought by Lucknow Super Giants and Anuj Rawat was bought by Gujarat Titans. Both were sold at a base price of 30 lakhs each.

Robin Minj was bought by Mumbai

Robin Minj was bought by Mumbai for 65 lakhs. He was in Chennai last year, but was out of the season due to an accident.

Kumar Kushagra bought by Gujarat

The bidding has started on the uncapped wicketkeeper and Kumar Kushagra's name has come first. Gujarat Titans bought him for Rs 65 lakh.

Ashutosh Sharma joins Delhi

Madhya Pradesh all-rounder Ashutosh Sharma has been bought by Delhi Capitals. Delhi spent Rs 3.80 crore for Ashutosh. Ashutosh was a part of Punjab last season and played some great innings.

Gujarat Titans bought left-arm spin all-rounder Mahipal Lomror for Rs 1.70 crore. Lomror was a part of RCB till last season but Bengaluru did not use RTM on him.

Vijay Shankar bought by CSK

Chennai Super Kings bought Vijay Shankar for Rs 1.20 crore. This all-rounder from Tamil Nadu was earlier a part of Gujarat Titans.

Punjab again bought Harpreet Brar

Punjab Kings have bought spin-allrounder Harpreet Brar for Rs 1.50 crore. He was also a part of Punjab before this.

Lucknow bought Abdul Samad

Lucknow Super Giants have bought Abdul Samad for Rs 4.20 crore. Earlier Samad was a part of Sunrisers.

Mumbai bought Naman Dheer

Mumbai Indians have bought allrounder Naman Dheer for 5.25 crore. Rajasthan had bid 3.20 crore for Naman but Mumbai used RTM. Rajasthan offered a bid of 5.25 crore, which was matched by Mumbai.

Sameer Rizvi enters Delhi

Sameer Rizvi was bought by Delhi Capitals for Rs 95 lakh. CSK did not use RTM.

Nishant Sindhu bought by Gujarat

The turn of uncapped all-rounders came and first of all young Indian all-rounder Nishant Sindhu was bought by Gujarat Titans at a base price of 30 lakhs.

Abhinav Manohar bought by SRH

SRH spent Rs 3.20 crore for Abhinav Manohar, who plays the role of finisher. Manohar was earlier a part of Gujarat Titans.

Karun Nair joins Delhi

Experienced batsman Karun Nair was bought by Delhi Capitals for Rs 50 lakhs.

Angkrish Raghuvanshi bought by KKR

Young Indian batsman Angkrish Raghuvanshi also got a good bid and finally once again KKR bought him for 3 crores.

Nehal Vadhera bought by Punjab
