Indian-origin Shefali Razdan Duggal nominated as US envoy to the Netherlands, know why she got this post

US President Joe Biden has nominated Indian-origin political activist Shafali Razdan Duggal as his envoy to the Netherlands.

The White House, the headquarters of the US President, gave this information. Duggal, 50, is of Jammu and Kashmir origin in India and has been living in the US for the past several years. She grew up in Cincinnati, Chicago, New York, and Boston. On Friday, the White House also announced the appointment of several other diplomats, including Razdan.

Shefali Razdan Duggal is the mother of two children. He has long experience as a political activist. She has been an advocate of women and human rights. She has been on the Holocaust Memorial Museum Council of America. Presently she is serving as an advisor to the Western Zonal Council. Razdan is a member of the San Francisco Committee of Human Rights Watch and a member of the Wake Forest University Leadership and Character Council.
