In view of rising petrol and diesel prices, government incentive schemes and environmental protection, customers are now increasingly turning to electric vehicles. This is the reason why auto companies are also launching new electric cars keeping in mind the needs of the customers. Soon 4 new electric vehicles are going to be launched in the Indian market, including Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, MG M9, MG Cyberster and Tata Harrier EV.

1. Maruti Suzuki e Vitara

This is the first electric car of Maruti Suzuki, which the company showcased at the Auto Expo 2025 held this year. This electric SUV has a 49kWh battery, which will offer a range of up to 500 kilometers on a single full charge. However, the company has not yet revealed its official launch date, but it is expected that it will be launched in the market soon.

2. MG M9

MG Motors is preparing to launch its new premium electric MPV MG M9 in the Indian market. This car will be sold through the MG Select retail network. This 7-seater electric vehicle can come with a 90kWh battery and will offer a range of 430 km on full charge. However, no official information has been revealed about its price yet.

3. MG Cyberster

If you are fond of sports cars, then MG's Cyberster EV can be a great option for you. This is a two-door sports electric car, which can be given a 77kWh battery. This car will offer a driving range of up to 443 km. This car will also be sold in India through the MG Select network.

4. Tata Harrier EV

The electric version of Tata Motors' popular SUV Harrier can also be launched soon. Tata Harrier EV can be offered with dual motor setup and all-wheel drive (AWD) option. However, the company has not yet shared much information related to the battery and driving range of this vehicle. But this vehicle is expected to come in the market with strong performance like other electric vehicles of Tata.
