By News Helpline – Mumbai | Pooja Bhatt dolls out a series of tweet, addressing online abuse and criticism, and urge everyone that it needs to stop.

Abuse, threats and criticism on social media is dime a dozen, but the problem starts when it turns personal and people rather having a healthy argument, crosses all lines and turn nasty.

Off late, Bhatt camp has been receiving burn on social media, due to Nepotism, actress Pooja Bhatt earlier addressed the whole debacle with Kangana and now she addresses the issue of threats and abuse online.

Pooja wrote a series of tweets, it read, “Criticism is one thing. Abuse quite another. Ignoring abuse seems to fuel those unleashing it to target more people. This has to stop. One can and should agree to disagree but having access to someone on social media doesn’t give anyone the right to make threats & hurl abuse”

“Not enough to merely ignore or mute any & all aggressive, abusive behaviour one observes. Report, block abusive behaviour towards one & all. We choose who we let into our homes so why permit our social media accounts to be inundated by motivated/misguided/inherently miserable souls?”

“Social media or anti-social media? Motivated, misguided or inherently miserable people target those they wouldn’t normally have access to & those who dare go against popular opinion, unleashing abuse & threats. Ignoring them fuels their frustration & makes them direct hate elsewhere”

Meanwhile on the work front, Pooja Bhatt will soon make her comeback on big screen with Sadak 2, helmed by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by Mukesh Bhatt under their banner Vishesh Films. The film is the sequel to the 1991 film Sadak. The sequel also stars Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur.
