Maharashtra MLC election / All NDA candidates win, cross voting, shock to Sharad Pawar

Maharashtra MLC election: In the Legislative Council (MLC) elections in Maharashtra, all 9 candidates of Mahayuti i.e. NDA have won the elections. According to the latest information, Pankaja Munde, Yogesh Tilekar, Parinay Phuke, Amit Gorkhe from BJP, Rajesh Vitekar, Shivajirao Garje from NCP, Kripal Tumane, Bhavana Gawli from Shiv Sena and Pradnya Rajiv Satav from Congress have won the elections. Congress candidate Satav has got 26 votes. At the same time, Shiv Sena Uddhav Thackeray faction candidate Milind Narvekar has also won.

Jayant Patil lost the election

According to the trend so far, Jayant Patil has not got all the first preferential votes of the NCP (SP) faction. Milind Narvekar has got 22 votes. BJP candidates including Pankaja Munde, Yogesh Tilekar, Parinay Phuke and Amit Gorkhe have got 26-26 votes. Jayant Patil has lost the election. NCP's Shivajirao Garje has got 24 votes. To win the election, a candidate had to get 22.76 votes.

Suspicion of cross voting on 2 Congress MLAs

According to the information, there is speculation of cross voting in the Congress camp. According to sources, some votes of Congress and NCP have gone in favor of Mahayuti i.e. NDA. Congress MLAs Zeeshan Siddiqui and Jitesh Antapurkar are suspected of cross voting. Deputy CM Ajit Pawar claimed that five MLAs of India Alliance supported us, I thank them. When elections are held, allegations are made but I do not think about it... Mahayuti should get such success in the assembly as well. At the same time, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis said that 9 out of 9 NDA candidates have won the election.

BJP President JP Nadda tweeted and said that hearty congratulations to all the NDA leaders for registering this spectacular victory in the Maharashtra MLC elections. Meanwhile, Maharashtra minister and BJP leader Sudhir Mungantiwar said that all 9 candidates of Mahayuti were elected. We are very happy. MVA's arrogance has been broken.

Uproar during counting

There was a ruckus during the counting. There was a dispute over the counting of one vote. 12 candidates are in the fray for 11 seats of the upper house of the state legislature. The term of 11 members of the Legislative Council is going to end on July 27.

BJP had fielded five candidates

BJP has fielded five candidates, while its Mahayuti allies Shiv Sena and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) have fielded two candidates each. Congress and Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) have fielded one candidate each, while their Maha Vikas Aghadi ally NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) supported the candidate of the Peasants and Workers Party (PWP).
