China Balloon row: Because of a spy balloon, two of the world's most powerful countries have come face to face. The US Defense Ministry Pentagon said that the US government has detected a very high altitude spy balloon. After which US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken has canceled his China tour. The news of the Chinese surveillance balloon passing over Latin America comes a day after the Pentagon reported that a Chinese surveillance balloon was seen flying inside US territory in Montana.

Tension increased in America-China

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken postponed his visit to Beijing in response to the sighting of a Chinese balloon in the American sky. He took the decision despite China's claim that the balloon was a meteorological research satellite that had lost its course and that it (Beijing) had 'no intention to violate the jurisdiction and airspace of any sovereign country'. After this balloon incident, the tension between the two countries has increased.

America's concern

Blinken said on Friday that his first task is to ensure that the Chinese balloon is removed from US airspace as soon as possible. Meanwhile, the Pentagon said that a Chinese balloon the size of three buses carrying a large number of payloads will probably remain in US skies for the next few days and has the ability to conduct extensive surveillance, it is a matter of our concern.

Blinken also said, 'I have always believed that it is necessary to keep the channels of communication open. In fact, this incident shows its importance and hence we will keep it.

The tour will happen when the situation changes: US

He said, 'When conditions permit, I will plan to go to China, but at the moment the most important thing is that this spy balloon is out of our airspace and we will get it out of here.'
