Baloch Attack Pak / Attack on army convoy in Pakistan, BLA claims 90 soldiers killed

According to a Pakistani official, "One bus was targeted with a Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED), which was possibly a suicide attack, while the other bus was targeted with a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) while going from Quetta to Taftan." The soldiers injured in the attack have been taken to Noshki and Frontier Corps (FC) camp for treatment.

Noshki SHO Sumanali said that the number of dead and injured may increase as the condition of many injured is said to be critical.

Baloch Liberation Army's claim

After the attack, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) issued a statement and took responsibility for the attack. The statement said that "BLA's fidayi unit Majeed Brigade targeted a Pakistani army convoy through a VBIED fidayi attack near Rakhshan Mill on the RCD Highway in Noshki a few hours ago. There were a total of eight buses in the convoy, one of which was completely destroyed in the explosion."

According to the BLA, soon after the attack, their "Fateh Squad" surrounded another bus and killed all the military personnel present in it. According to the organization, a total of 90 Pakistani soldiers were killed in this attack.
