Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won the opening match of IPL-18 by defeating Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 7 wickets. Bangalore achieved the target of 175 runs in 16.2 overs. Virat Kohli remained unbeaten after scoring 59 runs. Krunal Pandya took 3 wickets. Liam Livingstone won the match by hitting a four.
