Team India Schedule: Team India is currently busy in the T20 World Cup 2024, where it is trying its best to end the title drought. Whether this will happen or not, it will be known in the next few days, but even after the World Cup, Team India is not going to get rest, rather even after this Rohit Sharma and his team will be very busy. Especially in their home season, Team India has to play important series in all three formats and the Board of Control for Cricket in India has also released its schedule.

The final of the T20 World Cup will be played on 29 June. Everyone will hope that Team India plays this final and returns winning the title. Wherever Team India's journey goes in the World Cup, its action on the field will continue continuously. It is already decided that Team India will first tour Zimbabwe after the World Cup, where it has to play 5 T20 matches between July 6 and July 14. After this the team will go to Sri Lanka where it has to play ODI and T20 series.

Home season starts from September

After dealing with all this, the home season of the Indian team will start, which will start from September and will run till February. Team India will host Bangladesh, New Zealand and England during this period. Team India will play a total of 5 Test matches against these teams, which are part of the World Test Championship 2023-2025 cycle. Apart from these, the Indian team will also play 8 T20 matches and then 3 ODIs, which will be played just before the Champions Trophy 2025.

First Team India will host Bangladesh, in which 2 Tests and 3 T20 matches are to be played. Then the New Zealand team will come to India and 3 Test matches will be played between the two teams. Then in January, the England team will tour India for a limited overs series. 5 T20s and 3 ODIs will be played between the two teams in 3 weeks. Between the New Zealand and England series, Team India will also tour Australia in November-December, where it has to play the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. This time this Test series will be of 5 matches.

  • 27 September – 1 October: 2nd Test, Kanpur
  • 8 October: 1st T20, Dharamsala
  • 9 October: 2nd T20, Delhi
  • 12 October: 3rd T20, Hyderabad
India vs New Zealand

  • 16-20 October: 1st Test, Bengaluru
  • 24-28 October: 2nd Test, Pune
  • 01-05 November: Mumbai
India vs England (January 2025)

  • 22 January: 1st T20, Chennai
  • 25 January: 2nd T20, Kolkata
  • 28 January: 3rd T20, Rajkot
  • 31 January: 4th T20, Pune
  • 02 February: 5th T20, Mumbai
  • 06 February: 1st ODI, Nagpur
  • 09 February: 2nd ODI, Cuttack
  • 12 February: 3rd ODI, Ahmedabad
