At the same time, VVS Laxman will be the coach of the team on the Zimbabwe tour. Gautam Gambhir is the biggest contender for the new coach of the Indian team. There is most discussion about his name. Along with winning the T20 World Cup trophy, Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from T20 International. Since his departure, the position of the captain of Team India has also become vacant.
