IPL 2023: Cricket lovers are looking very excited about IPL 2023. The enthusiasm of the fans has increased after the mini auction. But now a bad news has come to the fore for the fans. It is being told that this time there is bound to be a reduction in the days of IPL. The main reason for this is the final of the World Test Championship, which is to start from June 7 at Lord's.

According to media reports, this time the 16th season of IPL will be of 60 days instead of 74 days. However, the dates of the league have not been announced by the BCCI yet. But if the reports are to be believed then this time IPL will be played only from 1st April to 31st May. Women's IPL is to be held in March. After this only 60 days window will be available with BCCI. Now it has to be seen what the BCCI decides on this. As of now, no official announcement has been made regarding this.

This rule of ICC will become a hindrance

According to ICC rules, no tournament of any kind can be organized seven days before and after any ICC tournament. In such a situation, the final of the World Test Championship to be held on June 7 can create problems for the IPL. BCCI has women's IPL (which will be for the first time this time) and a total window of 3 months for IPL. Now everyone's eyes will be fixed on the dates of IPL.

This time history was made in IPL auction

A new history was created in this year's IPL mini auction. In this auction, Sam Curran became the most expensive player sold in IPL. Punjab Kings made him a part of their team by paying a price of 18.5 crores. Curran has played for Punjab in IPL before also.
