Elon Musk News: American billionaire Elon Musk has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his historic victory in the Lok Sabha elections. He has said that he is excited about the "exciting work" his companies will do in India. Let us tell you that Narendra Modi will take oath as Prime Minister on June 9. This will be his third consecutive term as Prime Minister. Musk wrote on the social media platform 'X' on Friday, "Congratulations to Narendra Modi on winning the world's largest democratic elections! I am excited about the exciting work my companies will do in India." Prime Minister Modi replied to him, "Elon Musk, I appreciate your good wishes." He said that talented Indian youth, the country's demographics, predictable policies and stable democratic politics will continue to provide a business environment for all its stakeholders. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of electric car manufacturer Tesla and microblogging platform X had earlier postponed his proposed visit to India in April due to "heavy Tesla-related obligations".

Elon Musk was earlier scheduled to visit India

Musk was scheduled to visit India on 21 and 22 April. During this, he was also scheduled to meet Prime Minister Modi. However, later he informed on 'X' itself that he is excited to visit India later this year. In June last year, Musk met Modi during his US visit. He had said that he plans to visit India in 2024. He had expressed confidence that Tesla would soon enter the Indian market. His proposed visit had raised expectations that he would announce plans to set up electric car manufacturer Tesla as well as his telecommunications venture (satcom) Starlink in the country.
