Talking to reporters, Hooda also said that all the leaders of the party will accept the decision of the Congress high command regarding the post of Chief Minister. He expressed hope that Congress is going to get a huge majority in Haryana, because all sections have supported it.

Hooda said that in the Lok Sabha elections, the vote share of Congress has increased in all the 10 seats and that of BJP has decreased. This is a clear indication that this time Congress will form the government in Haryana. On the question related to the Chief Minister, the 77-year-old Congress leader said, "There is no question about the Chief Minister. The votes of the MLAs will be taken and the high command will decide. Whoever's name is decided, everyone will accept it." He again reiterated that he is neither 'tired' nor 'retired'.
