ICC T20I Rankings: After the T20 series against New Zealand, there is good news for Team India's batsman Suryakumar Yadav. India's star batsman Suryakumar Yadav remains the world's number-1 batsman in the latest T20 rankings of the International Cricket Council (ICC). Suryakumar Yadav has retained his top batsman position. While all-rounder Hardik Pandya reached the 50th position in the rankings of T20 batsmen.

Big news came for Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar Yadav has further strengthened his position at number-1 in the rankings by scoring an unbeaten 111 in the second T20 International match against New Zealand. Suryakumar Yadav has obtained 31 rating points from the three-match series. With 890 rating points, he is 54 rating points ahead of second-placed Mohammad Rizwan of Pakistan.

Hardik reached 50th place

Hardik, who led India in the series against New Zealand, reached the joint 50th position among batsmen after scoring an unbeaten 30 in the last match of the series. In the bowlers' list, veteran fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has moved up two places to 11th while left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh has moved up one place to 21st.

Kohli ranked sixth in ODI rankings

Spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has jumped eight places to reach the 40th position. Indian legend Virat Kohli is the top Indian in the batsmen's rankings in ODIs with the sixth position. Captain Rohit Sharma remains at the eighth position. Injured Jasprit Bumrah is at 11th position in the list of bowlers.

Steve Smith also on the best ranking of his career

Australia openers David Warner and Travis Head improved their rankings for batsmen after a stupendous 269-run partnership at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in the home series against England. Steve Smith, who performed strongly in the home series against England, also managed to equal his career-best ranking of seventh.
