Hezbollah Pager Blast: The recent pager blasts on Hezbollah fighters and members in Lebanon have created a sensation all over the world. These attacks have taken place at a time when Hezbollah had ordered pagers from Taiwan's Gold Apollo company. These blasts have raised questions about the role of the Taiwanese company, due to which the Taiwanese police raided the company's office.

Statement of Gold Apollo

Gold Apollo founder Hsu Ching-kuang clarified to the media that his company did not manufacture the pagers that were used in the blasts. He said that these pagers were made by a European company, which has obtained the right to use the brand name of the Taiwanese company. Hsu also said that the subcontract for the manufacture of pagers of this model was given by him to a European company.

Details of the attack

On Tuesday, pagers belonging to Hezbollah members in Lebanon and Syria suddenly started exploding, resulting in about 3,000 Hezbollah fighters and civilians being injured, while 11 people died. Hezbollah has accused Israel of being behind these attacks, although Israel has not given any official response on this matter.

Allegations against Taiwan

While analyzing the pictures of the pagers involved in the explosions, news agency Reuters found that these pagers had a sticker of Gold Apollo. A senior security source said that Hezbollah had ordered 5,000 pagers from Taiwan-based Gold Apollo. This has raised questions about the role of the company.

Company's response

Hsu Ching-kuang expressed embarrassment for his company regarding this attack. He said, "We are a responsible company. This is very embarrassing for us." He said that not only Hezbollah, but his company is also a victim of this attack.

Global concerns

These incidents have once again raised global security concerns. The US has appealed to Hezbollah and Iran to maintain peace, but these attacks have further escalated an already tense situation. Hezbollah fighters used pagers in the belief that it would protect them from Israeli surveillance, but now the same technology is being used against them.

This attack has given rise to a new debate on how technology can be misused, and who bears responsibility for it. Should companies take responsibility for the use of their products? This question is extremely important in today's times, especially when it comes to global security and terrorism.
