Telangana BJP chief G Kishan Reddy has said that we demand that the election of the Assembly Speaker should not be held with this Protem Speaker. Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad, G Kishan Reddy said, 'We have won 8 seats and reached 14% vote percentage in the state... There is a tradition of appointing a senior leader as pro tem speaker. However, Congress has appointed Akbaruddin Owaisi to this post due to its agreement with AIMIM. We have objection to this. We demand that the election of the Assembly Speaker should not be held with this Protem Speaker. We will tell the same thing to the Governor of the state.' At the same time, MLA T Raja Singh has clearly said that we will not take oath in front of Akbaruddin Owaisi.

At the same time, BJP MP Harnath Singh Yadav said, the DNA of people like Owaisi is not of India. His DNA is from Pakistan. I welcome this decision of T Raja Singh and BJP MLAs. This is absolutely the right decision of BJP.

He said, such a person who threatens and abuses Hindus in a public meeting… By making such a traitor a person the pro tem speaker, the dirty and disgusting mentality of the Congress has come to the fore. This decision is the pinnacle of Congress's decline.

What did Raja Singh say?

Raja Singh had given a statement on this issue earlier also. He said, I will not take oath in front of Owaisi as long as I am alive. T Raja said, in 2018 also the same AIMIM MLA was made the pro tem speaker. Didn't take it even at that time. I want to ask Congress Chief Minister Revanth Reddy whether you want to follow the path of BRS. BJP has captured 8 seats in the assembly elections held in Telangana. At the same time, Congress has formed the government by winning 64 seats. KCR's party BRS could win only 39 seats. At the same time, AIMIM got 7 seats.
