Gujarat Election 2022 / BJP's second list for Gujarat elections released, know who got the candidature from where

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released the second list of its candidates for the Gujarat Assembly Elections 2022. In the second list, BJP has announced the names of 6 candidates. In this list, Mahendrabhai Padaliya has been given ticket from Dhoraji. Mulubhai Bera has been fielded from Khambhalia, while Dhelben Maldebhai Odedara has been fielded from Kutiyana.

Gujarat Election 2022: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released the second list of its candidates for the Gujarat Assembly Elections 2022. In the second list, BJP has announced the names of 6 candidates. In this list, Mahendrabhai Padaliya has been given ticket from Dhoraji. Mulubhai Bera has been fielded from Khambhalia, while Dhelben Maldebhai Odedara has been fielded from Kutiyana. Apart from this, Sejal Rajiv Pandya has been fielded from Bhavnagar East, Hitesh Devji Vasava from Dediapada and Sandeep Desai from Choryasi.

In the second list of the six candidates announced by the BJP for the Gujarat elections, there are two women candidates. In the first list of BJP, 14 women got candidature. With this, a total of 16 women have been given tickets by the BJP for the 2022 Gujarat elections. Earlier, BJP had announced the names of candidates for 160 seats in the first list.


Many BJP leaders will not contest elections

Many Gujarat BJP leaders have announced not to contest the elections. These include Nitin Patel, Bhupendra Singh Chudasama, Minister of Education and Revenue in the cabinet of Vijay Rupani government, Minister of State for Home Pradeepsinh Jadeja, Energy Minister Saurabh Patel. Apart from this, Vibhavari Ben Dave, MLA from Bhavnagar and minister in the Rupani government, ministers Kaushik Patel, Vallabh Kakadia and Yogesh Patel have also announced not to contest the elections.

Significantly, the elections to the 15th Assembly in Gujarat are being held in two phases. In the first phase, votes will be cast for 89 seats on December 1. The last date for nomination for these seats is November 14. Same, in the second phase, voting will be held on December 5 for 93 seats in the state. The counting of votes will take place on December 8 along with the Himachal Pradesh elections.
