The BCCI gave information about the change of timing by tweeting before the match on Thursday. BCCI wrote in the tweet, 'Delay in starting the match due to rain. After the initial inspection in Lucknow, the time for the toss and start of play in the first ODI between India and South Africa has been extended by half an hour. Now the toss will be held at 1:30 pm Indian time, the game will start at 2 pm.
