Bollywood | Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen tied the knot in the year 2019. Shortly after the marriage, news of a rift in their relationship started coming. Later, sometimes they came together again and sometimes the distance between them increased. Charu and Rajiv have a daughter. The couple had admitted that they have reunited for a daughter and wanted to give their relationship another chance, but now Charu has made it clear that they are going to get divorced.

Fighting escalated after lockdown

Charu told that after marriage there have been constant fights between them. Not only this, Rajiv had blocked them so that there could be no contact between them. After the lockdown, he left Charu for three months and she remained alone during this time. Charu says that they used to have fights over many things which she tried to fix but it could not happen.

Rajiv accused of assault

In an interview with ETimes, Charu said, 'Rajeev gets angry very quickly. He used to abuse and even raised his hand at me a couple of times. He suspects me that I am cheating on him. When I was shooting for Akbar Ka Birbal, he messaged me to keep my co-actors away from myself. I was having trouble doing my job. I thought he was cheating on me but I couldn't prove it.

Charu wants to get divorced

Charu regrets that he thought of giving his marriage a second chance. She will soon start the divorce process. Charu says, 'It was a big mistake. And it will get dirty if this marriage drags on. It will be toxic for Gianna. When I told my family about it, they said that I am doing right by separating. I have a house on rent. When I return to Mumbai, I will go straight there and start the process of divorce. Hopefully he won't cause more trouble and agrees to it. I don't want alimony. I don't want to drag this marriage any further. I already wasted three and a half years.

Rajiv denies the allegations

On the other hand Rajiv says that such allegations are rubbish. He always knew where he was. She left Mumbai many times without any reason.
