Shikhar Dhawan: On 24 August 2024, Indian cricket star opener Shikhar Dhawan announced his retirement from international and domestic cricket. Dhawan, who has been out of the Indian team for a long time, completed the formalities of his farewell to domestic cricket, which also ended his chances of playing in the IPL. Debuted for India in the year 2010

Shikhar Dhawan is known for explosive batting and has won many matches for Team India on his own. He made his international cricket debut for the Indian team in the year 2010. For a few years after his debut, he was in and out of Team India. But after the year 2013, he became an important pivot of Team India's batting order. He scored the most runs for India in the Champions Trophy 2013 and played an important role in winning the title.

Total 24 centuries scored in international cricket

After 2013, Shikhar Dhawan became an important part of the Indian team. After this, he never looked back. He has scored 2315 runs in 34 Test matches, 6793 runs in 167 ODI matches and 1759 runs in T20 Internationals with the help of 11 half-century innings at an average of 27.92 for Team India. He scored a total of 24 centuries in all three formats.
