Bollywood / Director from Kundra's firm arrested after actress claims she was forced to shoot porn

Abhijit Bhomble, director in businessman Raj Kundra's company has been arrested by Mumbai Crime Branch Property Cell in a porn films case. An actress had filed complaint against 4 people from Kundra's company, alleging that she was forced to shoot porn for Kundra's app. Besides Bhomble, Gehana Vasisth, Ajay Srimant and Prince Kashyap are the accused in this case.

Bollywood Desk: There is a new update related to Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra's pornography case. The Mumbai Crime Branch Property Cell has arrested a new suspect by the name of Abhijit Bhomble who served as one of the directors in Kundra's company. 

He was named as an accused in the second FIR registered in Malwani police which was later transferred to the crime branch. As per news agency ANI's tweet, the complainant who is an actress, has named four people in her FIR including actress Gehana Vasisth.

"Pornography matter: Abhijit Bhomble, director in businessman Raj Kundra's company arrested by Mumbai Crime Branch Property Cell. An actress had filed case against 4 people from Kundra's company. Besides Bhomble, Gehana Vashisth, Ajay Srimant & Prince Kashyap are accused in this," read ANI's tweet. 

A total of 11 arrests have been made so far after Kundra's arrest on July 19. Amidst various allegations, actress Gehana who has been co-accused in the new FIR, has defended the UK-based businessman. Gehana who is currently out on bail, was summoned by the police on July 24 for interrogation related to Kundra's case.

Meanwhile, Mumbai police has reportedly extended Kundra's custody. Kundra who is booked under sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292, and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), is likely to stay in judicial custody till August 20. As per a news report, police opposed Kundra's bail plea stating that if he is released on bail, he might try committing the same crimes or try and escape. Police also told the court that being a British citizen, Kundra could also escape if granted bail.
