The concerned doctor allegedly tried to suppress the matter and asked the family members of the pregnant woman not to tell about it to anyone. But after being discharged from the hospital, when the patient's health started deteriorating, his relatives and neighbors came to know about it. The hospital administration said, 'We have received a report about such an incident. We are checking the facts to be sure. If the doctor or anyone else is found guilty, action will be taken against him only on the basis of the inquiry report.

The family made this serious allegation

It said an 11-member committee has been constituted to probe the matter and a preliminary report was submitted on Friday. “We have sent the FIR report to the health department in Guwahati. We are waiting for the full report. According to the family, the pregnant woman was not feeling well, after which she was admitted to the hospital on August 21. The family members alleged that after being under observation for two days, the doctor decided to operate her on August 23 without conducting an ultrasound even though she knew that she was going to give birth in early December.

Stitches left inside the fetus

They claim that after the operation, when the doctor realized that the fetus was still underdeveloped, he left the embryo inside and stitched it. They say the woman was discharged on August 31 and the doctor allegedly asked the family not to tell anyone about it. According to family members, after returning home, the patient's health started deteriorating and his neighbors and relatives came to know about everything.
