Himanta Biswa Sarma: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has made a big claim regarding the Lok Sabha elections. He attacked the minority community of Bangladeshi origin. Sarma said that the people of this community got houses, toilets, roads, government jobs, ration and Rs 1250 per month from the Modi government but this community voted for the Congress because they want appeasement.

CM Sarma said that his aim was not development but to remove Modi and maintain the dominance of his community. During a program in Guwahati on Saturday, Sarma said that this is the only community in Assam which is involved in communalism. This proves that Hindus are not involved in communalism. If anyone is involved in communalism in Assam, it is only one community.

NDA won 11 seats in Assam

NDA won 11 out of 14 seats in Assam while Congress and its allies got only three seats. If we talk about vote percentage, NDA got 47 percent votes while India alliance got 39 percent votes.

CM Sarma said that if we analyze the 39 percent vote of Congress, it has not come from the entire state. He said that 50 percent of it has come from 21 assembly constituencies, which are minority dominated areas. BJP got three percent votes in these areas.
