After this controversy, Samajwadi Party chief and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav himself reached Agra today and met MP Suman. Talking to the media, he termed the entire incident as a "well-planned conspiracy" and launched a scathing attack on the BJP government.

Akhilesh Yadav said that the attack on Ramjilal Suman is not an ordinary incident, but an attempt to intimidate and crush the backward, Dalit and minority class (PDA). He further said that BJP is winning the recent by-elections by spreading fear and terror. Referring to the incident in Prayagraj, he told how a Dalit youth was killed and burnt, and the government remained silent on that too.

Akhilesh Yadav gave a very controversial statement about Karni Sena and said, "This is not Karni Sena, this is Yogi Sena, which is getting funding from the government. No action was taken against those waving swords. It is clear that this was a demonstration done under the protection of the government."

He said that this entire incident is a direct attack on democracy and the Constitution. Samajwadi Party will move forward under the Constitution of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar and the rights given in it and will not bow down to any kind of fear.

Security arrangements strict, high alert in Agra

In view of Akhilesh Yadav's Agra visit, the administration made heavy security arrangements. Hundreds of policemen were deployed around MP Suman's house. The entire area has been cordoned off to prevent any possible tension.
