ED Raid Bengal: In a case of fraud through mobile gaming app, the Enforcement Directorate-ED raided Kolkata on Saturday. These raids have been conducted at the locations of Mobile Gaming Application operators. The ED has taken this action under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act ie PMLA. So far, Rs 7 crore cash has been found during the raids. Counting of the cash recovered was going on till the filing of this report.Raids on six locationsThe ED has taken action on 6 locations of the operators of the gaming app. The ED teams along with the Central Armed Forces personnel on Saturday morning left the Salt Lake Agency's central government office premises for a search operation. In this raid, the ED has got a good amount of cash. This cash is so much that till now the ED team is engaged in counting it. In this, there is still counting of 500 to 2000 notes.Where did the ED team go?The first team reached the residence of a lawyer at 34 McLeod Street in the Park Street police station area. The second team reached the house of Nisar Ali, a trader of Shahi Stables Lane in Garden Reach, to raid. Here they confiscated a significant amount of cash.These notes were kept in a big trunk here. The notes were so high that the ED had to call for a machine to count it. The ED did not get any valid information about the source of this cash with the trader. According to sources, his younger son Aamir Khan had created the gaming application E-Nuggets. Earlier people were given commission through this. On the basis of this, Khan had cheated many people of crores of rupees.The ED's search operation is going on till the filing of this news. The third team of ED is currently carrying out raids in Mayurbhanj area. Significantly, this is the third cash seizure in Kolkata in less than two months.
