Delhi / Emergency landing of Air Vistara flight at Indira Gandhi Airport, passengers' lives were in danger, all safe

An Air Vistara flight made an emergency landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport on Thursday. The flight took off from Delhi to Amritsar. There has been an emergency landing of flight number UK-697. Thankfully all the passengers are safe. The plane returned to the Delhi airport soon after taking off from Delhi to Amritsar due to a technical snag. Another aircraft was arranged for operation.

An Air Vistara flight made an emergency landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport on Thursday. The flight took off from Delhi to Amritsar. There has been an emergency landing of flight number UK-697. Thankfully all the passengers are safe.

The plane returned to the Delhi airport soon after taking off from Delhi to Amritsar due to a technical snag. Another aircraft was arranged for operation.

The flight had 147 passengers including 28 crew members. Everyone's life was in danger due to technical fault. Due to the intelligence of the pilot, everyone's life was saved. Emergency landing was made at Indira Gandhi International Airport.

In this matter, Vistara Airlines issued a statement saying that a technical fault was detected in the flight from Delhi to Amritsar. In order not to endanger the lives of the passengers, the pilots decided to return. Emergency landing of the flight was done safely at IGI airport. Arrangements were made for another aircraft to fly to Amritsar immediately.
