Shubman Gill occupies number one position and Babar Azam occupies second position in ICC ODI rankings.

In the new ODI rankings released by ICC, Indian team's opening batsman Shubman Gill is occupying the number one position with a rating of 826. Pakistan's former captain Babar Azam is at the second position, his rating has now reached 824. That means the difference in ratings between the first and second positions is only two. That means there is definitely a danger for Shubman Gill. It is another matter that the players of India and Pakistan will stay away from ODI cricket for some time to come.

Virat Kohli reaches number three in ICC rankings, Rohit Sharma at fourth place

Meanwhile, former Indian team captain Virat Kohli has reached number three with his explosive performance. Last time he was at number four. Now Virat Kohli's rating has become 791. Whereas Team India captain Rohit Sharma has come at number four with a rating of 769. Earlier in the ranking he was at number five. That means Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have got a jump of one place each.

South African batsman Quinton de Kock has fallen straight to number five. His rating has now reached 760. Whereas New Zealand's Daryl Mitchell is at number six with a rating of 750. Meanwhile, David Warner has not suffered much loss, he has come at number seven with a rating of 745. South Africa's Rassie van der Dussen is at number eight with a rating of 735. Whereas Ireland's Harry Tector has occupied number nine with a rating of 729. This is the rating of David Malan of England, he has also occupied number nine. Apart from three Indian players in the top 4, India's Shreyas Iyer has come at number 12.
